I had the opportunity to shoot the lovely fashionista Abee Magallona a few weeks before. I invited her to shoot for my portfolio (of every sort :)) and thankfully she obliged. Here are her chic photos and some sharing.

Define your style
My style is a fusion of girly and edgy. Kind of mixing the styles of Coco Chanel, Victoria Beckham, and JLo. I also go for long sleeves, tailored tops, and fitted dresses and skirts as they are flattering for my body type.

Designer - Chanel and Oscar Dela Renta
Brand - High-end: Chanel; Retail: New Look, H&M, Forever 21, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Aldo
Chanel is one of the few luxury brands that really stick to creating fashion items that are classy and timeless so it is an instant favorite of mine. When I reach the age of 25 or 30, I want to dress that way. Tailored dresses, coats, skirts etc.
The retail brands that I mentioned are my favorite as well, for they create affordable yet chic clothes. In addition, just going in those stores make me exhilarated and excited to shop. :) Tsaka yung mga retail brands, nandun na lahat ng styles eh. Edgy, girly, laid back. One-stop shop sila ika nga. :)

What started you in dressing fashionably?
I started dressing fashionably when I was in 3rd Grade back in Florida, USA. My best friend, Lei Suarin, influenced me and taught me all the hits and misses in fashion -- basically everything that I know now about styling and self-image.
Plans for being more serious in fashion?
When I was in first year college, I had this intense dream of being an editor for Preview magazine. That is why I always went to Philippine Fashion Weeks and brand launches back then. But, it changed recently. I finally found what I really want to be in the future but I'm still praying for it. Though, I will always retain my style because it's already a huge part of my personality.

Any last words?
My advice for aspiring fashionistas or are already in the path of chic greatness, is to always have confidence. Always always always. It's the element that completes an outfit.
