moving forward

'There's still sadness in the way she looks and the way she moves, but the way she danced and communed with the sea... It's as if you did not leave and break her heart.'

It has been a while since the last post. Life has turned out to be quite busy the past September when I had to make room for adjustments and focus on work. I haven't been able to push already planned shoots the past months due to hectic schedules. It has been going on for quite a while and bit by bit, I grew tired, disappointed, and if I'm being honest, depressed, up to the point that I hid my camera so that I can't see it and remember that I was missing on something so important in my life. It crushes my heart not to be able to hold my camera and shoot for what I love when all I wanted to do is this and this alone.

So on my birthday, I gave myself the gift that I owe myself -- choosing to do what I love and deciding to fight for it.
